City Slicker Farm Park Grand Opening

The City Slicker Farm Park is a new 1.4 acre public park and urban farm in West Oakland. A full weekend of celebration on 6/11 and 6/12 (details here) will mark the Grand Opening of this rare new park and urban farm.
A free community meal, the formal dedication, and an afternoon of family-friendly activities will take place at the site on Sat. 6/11, from 11 am – 5 pm. No Coal in Oakland will be there to celebrate alongside the community. The Farm Park is located less than a mile directly down wind from the proposed coal terminal (OBOT).
The City Slicker Farm Park is located at 2847 Peralta St., between Helen St. and Hannah St.
