West Oakland Community Meeting

This community meeting will invite West Oakland residents to mobilize together to keep a dangerous pollutant out of their neighborhood. A short history of our decade-long campaign and updates about the current situation regarding a proposed coal terminal on West Oakland’s waterfront will be followed by brainstorming in small groups about how the community can make sure a coal terminal is never imposed on West Oaklanders, and what can be done now to oppose would-be coal developers’ dystopian vision.
