Community Rally: No Coal in Oakland!

For years, developer Phil Tagami has been pushing to build a massive coal terminal in West Oakland.
Tagami was first backed by a coal company, then by a former coal company executive, and now by a hedge fund managed by Vikas Tandon.
The people and City of Oakland have always opposed siting a coal terminal on our waterfront! In 2016, the Oakland City Council voted unanimously to ban coal, and is now fighting in state court to stop the development for good.
We need your support to Keep Coal Out of Oakland! Please join us for a No Coal in Oakland Community Rally on Saturday, July 22, 2023, from 12:00 – 1:30 pm, at 732 Willow St. (between 7th St. & 8th St.) in West Oakland. Closest BART station: West Oakland.
